ELCO is part of Ariston Group and was founded in Switzerland in 1928. With almost 100 years of experience, ELCO has developed expertise across burner, gas condensing boiler, heat pump and solar technologies, supporting the installation of more than 1.7 million heating systems across Europe.
Since its foundation, ELCO has focused on developing heating solutions supported by engineering expertise, technical know-how and dedicated customer support.
Today, ELCO offers a wide range of heating technologies for residential, commercial and industrial applications, combining products, services and technical expertise to support customers throughout the lifecycle of their heating systems.
Looking back
Since its foundation, ELCO has continuously expanded its expertise across heating technologies. Starting with burners for oil and gas heating applications, the company progressively developed its portfolio to include integrated boilers, gas condensing systems, solar thermal technologies and heat pump solutions.
During the 1970s and 1980s, ELCO introduced the ASTRON solar thermal system and expanded its range of air-source, ground-source and domestic hot water heat pumps. The company also explored alternative heating concepts, including the Thermo-Diesel, an air-source heat pump powered by a diesel engine.
