With the AEROTOP® SPK, ELCO is expanding its heat pump portfolio to include an air-to-water heat pump that combines heating, cooling and domestic hot water production. Its versatile applications make it an attractive option for both new builds and modernisation projects.
The AEROTOP® SPK also opens up new possibilities when modernising existing heating systems: flow temperatures of up to 70 °C allow for the design of systems in which existing heating surfaces can be taken into account – depending on the building, heat demand and system design. The system is complemented by functions for domestic hot water production and legionella protection.
With R290 (propane), the AEROTOP® SPK utilises a natural refrigerant and combines this with state-of-the-art heat pump technology. It thus offers a modern solution for a range of requirements in both new-build and refurbishment projects.
In terms of acoustics, too, the AEROTOP® SPK has been designed to deliver a low sound power level. An optional Super-Silent mode is available for situations where noise levels are a particular concern.¹
The AEROTOP® SPK combines clean lines with an understated design, allowing it to blend harmoniously into a variety of architectural settings. The AEROTOP® SPK16/20 received the Red Dot Award, the iF Design Award and the German Design Award in the Product Design category for this design.
With four power ratings ranging from 7 to 20 kW, the AEROTOP® SPK offers various options for planning new-build and refurbishment projects. For higher heating requirements, the system can be operated in cascade mode.
Furthermore, depending on the system configuration, the AEROTOP® SPK can be integrated into compatible building automation systems via documented interfaces. Compatibility depends on the interface, gateway and system configuration.
