AQUATOP T heat pumps with free energy The operating costs of the AQUATOP T heat pumps are well below those of conventional heating systems. They exploit the energy stored in the surroundings (e.g. in the ground water) to generate warmth for heating. In addition, AQUATOP T heat pumps relieve environmental stress, because they produce no CO2 emissions. For sake of comparison, 90 to 110 kWh per m² per annum is the standard value accor- ding to Italian legislation.
