AQUATOP T heat pumps with free energy The operating costs of the AQUATOP T heat pumps are well below those of conventional heating systems. They exploit the energy stored in the surroundings (e.g. in the ground water) to generate warmth for heating. In addition, AQUATOP T heat pumps relieve environmental stress, because they produce no CO2 emissions. AQUATOP T heat pumps are characterised by their top quality and reliability, and bear the “Geprüfte Qualität” (“Certified Quality”) heat pump seal of approval, which is re- cognised in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. For sake of comparison, 90 to 110 kWh per m² per annum is the standard value accor- ding to Italian legislation. The heating and warm water pro- cessing are taken care of by an AQUATOP T heat pump – an innovative solution for house-builders who want to make themselves completely independent of fossil energies within their own four walls. AQUATOP T heat pumps generate con- venient heating warmth with free energy from the surrounding air and from the soil. An ELCO solar installation, consisting of 5 SOLATRON A 2.3 flat collectors, is used to heat the swimming-pool and to supple- ment the warm water processing. The flat collectors deliver high energy yields. This permits savings of up to 60% in the amount of energy needed for warm water in a single-family dwelling- house in the course of a year. SOLATRON A 2.3 combines quality components and efficient technology with ease of use and environmental acceptability. New construction project: Casa Passiva, Mariano Comense Energy saving on a large scale: with leading-edge ELCO technology The project was born of the idea of a family who wanted to develop something completely new and innovative in the way of house and home comfort.
