The R30 wall-mounted gas condensing boiler – a compact powerhouse The spiral tube heat exchanger made from stainless steel in the heart of the R30 ensures optimum heat transfer and achieves a standard efficiency factor of 110 %. The R30 works highly efficiently, runs quietly and produces low pollutant emissions. Being simple to install, maintenance-friendly and offering a wide output range, the R30 is also ideally suited for use in large installations. The total thermal output of the two boilers is 170 kW (2 x 85 kW). Thanks to the automatic adjustment of the burner output (modulation 1:12), combined with a weather-controlled regulator, precisely the right amount of heat is always gene- rated as and when required – this saves energy and reduces emissions. The system supplies water heaters, air heaters, under- floor heating and radiator heating systems. For the planning and execution of the entire installations, only those components could be considered that took up little space. This was because in the only available utility room the space available was extremely restricted – every centimetre counted. The wall-mounted R30 from ELCO provided the perfect solu- tion for this requirement. After all, compared with floor-mounted boilers, this model makes it possible to save a few square metres of valuable floor space. Outstanding performance in the tightest of spaces – the ELCO system saves space and energy „Das Zunfthaus zur Zimmerleuten“, originally called “Haus zum Roten Adler“, is one of Zurich’s most important historic buildings. It was built in its present form around 1708. The oldest part of the building, a keep, dates back even as far as the year 1156. The house is the headquarters of the “Zunft zur Zimmerleuten”, but is also open to the public. “Das Zunft- haus zur Zimmerleuten“ has a bar, a restaurant with terraces, a conference centre and beautiful guild rooms.
